In the planning phase, the first goal was to make more spacious and effective use of the space — which was narrow, long and constrained in terms of ceiling height. For this reason, the bar section was placed so that it can become the focal point of the space.
The floor, walls, ceiling and the front face of the bar section were finished with an exposed-concrete-look cladding, so the space emerged through layers built on a single material. The meaning of Bloom — to sprout, to flourish — was reflected onto the space. Preserved plants were used in groups on the walls and ceiling. To invite people all the way inside the space, a lit interior garden and a darts area were created at the back. To offer alternatives to the users, instead of a single type of table and chair, different seating groups and bistros were designed.
Materials of different textures were used in a balanced way within the space — navy lacquer and bronze metal, exposed concrete and monochrome ceramics.
