Bloom Cafe

The first objective in the planning phase was to use the space which is narrow, long and limited in terms of ceiling height, more commodiously and effectively. Therefore, the bar section was placed in such a way that it could be the focal point of the place.

The ground, walls, ceiling and the front side of the bar section were made with an exposed concrete-like coating. Thus, space was created by forming layers on a single material. Bloom cafe meaning sprouting, flourishing is reflected in the space. Shocked plants were used in groups on the walls, ceiling. In order to invite people to the inside of the space, a luminous courtyard and dart area were created at the back. With the purpose of offering an alternative to the users, instead of a prototype table and chair, different seating groups and bistros are designed. Materials of different textures were used in the space in a balanced manner, such as navy blue lake and bronze metal, exposed concrete and monochrome ceramics.
