Our primary goal in this project was to solve the small-scale office area at hand with a layout that allows it to be used at maximum efficiency and comfort. We had to respect the employees’ personal areas while avoiding the creation of uncomfortable little compartments when separating zones. Before moving on to the design, the needs and functions were carefully analyzed and a layout plan was prepared accordingly.
Instead of glass partitions or walls, area definitions were set by design touches on the ceiling, transparent separators between spaces and color transitions designed on the floor. As a result, a space emerged that does not overwhelm the user but at the same time signals its boundaries through its natural flow. In our office projects, our primary aim is to create atmospheres that positively affect the user’s comfort and motivation.
